It can adsorb various VOC organic waste gases such as benzene, toluene, ketones, alcohols, tetrahydrofuran, dichloromethane, trichloromethane, trichloroethylene, perchloroethylene, carbon disulfide, formyl, gasoline, fluorinated hydrocarbons, etc.

Use Instructions

1. Clean and remove dust before use, otherwise these black dust may temporarily affect the cleanliness of water quality. However, it is recommended not to wash it directly with fresh tap water, because once the pores of activated carbon absorb a large amount of chlorine and bleaching powder in tap water, it will damage the water quality when it is later placed in the filter for use.

2. It is impossible to clean the sundries blocked in the pores of activated carbon by simple cleaning at ordinary times. Therefore, it is necessary to replace the activated carbon regularly to avoid its loss of efficacy due to "adsorption saturation". And the best time to replace it is not to wait for it to fail, so as to ensure that the activated carbon can continuously remove the harmful substances in the water quality of the aquarium. It is recommended to replace activated carbon once or twice a month

3. The efficiency of activated carbon in treating water quality is related to its treatment amount, which is usually "the effect of treating water quality is relatively good if the amount is large".

Matters Needing Attention:

1. During transportation, the activated carbon shall not be mixed with hard substances, and shall not be stepped or stepped on to prevent the carbon particles from breaking and affecting the quality.

2. Storage should be stored in porous adsorbent. Therefore, water immersion should be absolutely prevented during transportation, storage and use. After water immersion, a large amount of water will fill the active space, making it ineffective.

3. To prevent tar substances from being brought into the activated carbon bed during the use, so as not to block the gap of the activated carbon and make it lose its adsorption. It is better to have decoking equipment to purify the gas.

4. During storage or transportation, fireproof activated carbon shall be prevented from direct contact with the fire source to prevent fire. During regeneration of activated carbon, oxygen shall be avoided and the regeneration shall be complete. After regeneration, it must be cooled down to below 80 ℃ by steam, otherwise the temperature is high, and the activated carbon will ignite spontaneously in case of oxygen.
